You suddenly catch a glimpse of a figure, you look again, it’s gone. Then another figure appears but slowly fades away. Have you stumbled into a remake of the film Predator?
These figures are the creative work of contemporary sculptor Rob Mulhollard, pieces of mirrored Perspex are placed within natural settings, challenging your relationship to the figure and also to the nature around you.
They are designed to alter your reality, one moment you see them and the next they are gone. The figures absorb and also reflect their environment. Like the outline of a human that has been before, they can be sensed but at the same time remain invisible.
