Vitor Schietti is fascinated with life’s impermanency. His stunning photographs capture something prior to life itself. A primordial force that will endure even after we return to dust.
The series is a result of several years research on long exposure photography, while some are acquired in a single exposure, most are composed by layering light paintings from multiple pictures. The result is conceived entirely from real action using fireworks.
Describing himself as a citizen of the world, Vitor currently lives in Barcelona. Impermanent Sculptures was awarded by the PDN 2016 Photo Annual in NYC and gained international recognition.
